This month, Little Guys Movers had the opportunity to help restore a piece of history. The Little Guys were honored to move the Selwyn unicorn statue to its rightful place on the Selwyn School Argyle campus.
Founded in 1957, the Selwyn School has a mission to cultivate global citizens and encourage child development through academics and learning. Selwyn is a major part of the North Texas community, particularly in the Denton, Argyle, and Flower Mound areas.
In the 1990’s, Argyle resident Soraya Fletcher, now known by many as the mother of Bachelorette Jojo Fletcher, gifted Selwyn with this beautiful unicorn statue. The unicorn stood over a garden of flowers and added a whimsical touch to the Selwyn campus.
We love moving unique and meaningful items, and this statue is definitely both! Having the opportunity to offer our services to wonderful members of our community means so much to us at Little Guys Movers, and we’re honored to have helped the unicorn reach its home.
