Dogs make the world a better place. There’s nothing like a wagging tail or tongue-out smile to turn your day around. We adore dogs at Little Guys Movers, so our Lubbock location was thrilled to partner with Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue this month! Each Lubbock employee brought one or two items to donate to the rescue to help dogs in need.
Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue is all about advocating for Pit Bulls in the Lubbock community. Lubbock animal shelters take in close to 2,000 Pit Bulls each year, and about 80% of those dogs are euthanized. Overpopulation in the shelters is a big issue, but Pit Bulls in particular face discrimination because of their breed. Saving Grace Pit Bull Rescue helps these dogs find loving homes and get the care they need.
“We are big on dogs at our store, so we were more than excited to help out this animal shelter,” says Branch Manager Drew Brannon. “In fact, many of our Little Guys have dogs, and when we have store meetings a lot of us will bring our dogs to the meeting so they can play together!”
Ways You Can Help

- Blankets (no stuffing)
- Treats/Snacks
- Peanut Butter (no Xylitol, please)
- Squeeze Cheese
- Odoban
- Fabric Softener
- Laundry Detergent
- Fly Spray/Traps
- Large Trash Bags
- Lysol/Clorox Wipes
Monetary donations to the rescue’s account at Animal Medical Center or Key Animal Clinic are also greatly appreciated.
