Little Guys Movers has been handling local residential moves since 1992. We offer full-service moving, which means you can hand us as much or as little of the process as makes sense for you. How Local Moving Works: What to Expect on Moving Day

Before your move date, we sit down with you to build a quote based on what you are moving and what works best for your situation. We offer both item-based and hourly pricing. For some moves, item-based pricing offers greater predictability. For others, hourly is more efficient and economical. We will tell you which one makes more sense for your move and why, and either way, all foreseeable costs are laid out before moving day.

On moving day, your crew arrives on time, walks through the home, and gets to work. Furniture is padded and wrapped before it moves. Fragile items are handled specifically. Boxes are loaded efficiently and secured properly in the truck. At the destination, everything comes off in reverse order of how it went on, and your crew places furniture where you want it rather than leaving everything in the middle of the floor for you to sort out.

If something needs dissasembly to fit through a door or around a corner, we handle that. If it needs to reassembly in the new space, we handle that too.

A standard local move with Little Guys includes loading, transportation, and unloading. From there, you can add any of the following based on what your move requires:

We offer both item-based and hourly pricing and will walk you through which approach makes more sense for your move. Item-based pricing reflects your actual move, not a general estimate built around an average. Hourly pricing works better for smaller or more straightforward jobs. Either way, your quote is clear and upfront before moving day.

Yes. Our local moving services can include full-service packing and unpacking for an additional fee. We can pack your entire home, specific rooms, or just fragile and specialty items, whatever level of help makes sense for your situation. Packing materials are included when we pack for you.

How far in advance should I book local movers?
