At Little Guys Movers, we love a good game of golf. But what’s better than golf? Golf that gives back! For the third year in a row, the Norman Little Guys Movers location participated in the Meals on Wheels Golf Scramble. Meals on Wheels delivers nutritious meals to the ill, disabled, and elderly that are unable to shop for food on their own. The Golf Scramble is one way to raise money for this great cause.
This year, the Little Guys Movers Norman location sponsored and manned a drink station. We sold beverages to the golfers, with all proceeds going toward Meals on Wheels. We also transported all of the supplies from the Meals on Wheels office to the golf course for the event.
“Meals on Wheels provides an essential service to people in need within our community,” says Branch Manager Ryan Hamblin. “We make sure to do our part in order for them to continue to do what they do.”
