Packing materials are included when we do the packing. If you are packing yourself and need supplies, we can provide boxes, paper, and tape separately.
How We Pack Fragile and Specialty Items
Dishes, glassware, artwork, mirrors, electronics, and antiques all require packing techniques that go beyond wrapping them in newspaper and hoping for the best. We use professional-grade packing paper, bubble wrap, custom foam, and purpose-built boxes for fragile and specialty items.
Artwork and mirrors are wrapped and packed in custom mirror boxes with corner protection. Dishes are individually wrapped and packed in cell kits designed to prevent contact between pieces. Flat-screen TVs travel in purpose-built TV boxes with foam inserts. Items with irregular shapes or high value are assessed individually and packed accordingly.
If you have items of particular value or sentimental importance, tell us before packing day. We plan for those specifically rather than treating them like everything else in the room.
