We love giving back all year long, but there’s something extra special about helping out during the holiday season. When Little Guys Movers in Greensboro was asked to assist the Children’s Home of NC deliver donated toys this Christmas, we jumped at the opportunity. Learn about the incredible work they are doing and how you can help.
About the Children’s Home Society of NC
The Children’s Home Society (CHS) of NC works to promote the right of every child to a permanent, safe, and loving family. They are a nonprofit that provides foster care, family preservation programs, adoptions, and educational programs as they advocate for families and children. Over 300 children exit foster care to their forever families through CHS programs each year.
Hope for the Holidays Event
As CHS puts it, while the greatest gift a child can receive is a loving home, it’s amazing the joy that a few wish list items can bring during the holiday season. The Hope for the Holidays event allows people to select and fulfill a child’s Christmas wish list. Items are purchased new and delivered to that child’s foster family to be wrapped and opened on Christmas day. It truly makes the season bright for these children.

Lending a Hand
We loved getting to play Santa for the day and help CHS move all of the gifts they collected during Hope for the Holidays last month. We delivered over 140 bags of toys and gifts for children in North Carolina. This organization is doing so much to bring love and joy to kids in our community, and we were honored to get to be a part of it!
