At Little Guys Movers in Murfreesboro, we have a yearly Mardi Gras tradition: The Mardi Paws Animal Gala. Mardi Paws is an entertaining night of food, drinks, music, and costumes hosted by Purple Paws, a 501(c)(3) charity that raises money for animal rescue organizations. Our Murfreesboro Branch Manager John Manning serves as the President of the Board for Purple Paws, so the organization holds a special place in our hearts.
“Animal rescues routinely find themselves hard-pressed to raise necessary operational funds on top of the many tasks they tackle daily,” says Manning. “Purple Paws helps ease that burden, and as animal lovers ourselves, Little Guys Movers is honored to be a part of such a wonderful organization.”
This year’s Gala was a complete success! The event raised $5000, which was donated to 5 different charities. This means each charity received $1000 to put toward saving animals in need. Plus, the Little Guys had a blast getting dressed up in Mardi Gras regalia, participating in a scavenger hunt, and enjoying live music from the Third Coast Jazz Band. Mardi Paws is always a night to remember, and this year did not disappoint!
