At Thanksgiving, the Little Guys go big. We fill our tables with an endless bounty of turkey and carbs, but it’s not just us we’re thinking about. We want our entire community to get to enjoy an amazing Thanksgiving meal, and Turkeys Tackling Hunger makes that possible.
Turkeys Tackling Hunger is an event run by the Hays County Food Bank, and for the past 10 years, Little Guys Movers in San Marcos has donated time and labor to make Thanksgiving dinner a reality for everyone. We help out by putting our trucks to good use transporting turkeys and boxed meals that will go to families in need this holiday season.
“We enjoy working with Turkeys Tackling Hunger each year because we get to see the impact and support this event brings to our local community,” says Branch Manager Todd Apple. “The holidays can be tough, especially in COVID times. [Turkeys Tackling Hunger] is such a great way to give back, and get out and meet people of all ages and backgrounds. It means a lot to our community and staff to participate in this event each year.”
