Supporting the Waco Independent Film Festival

Little Guys Movers is a company filled with musicians and artists of all kinds — our flexible hours and fun work environment make it an ideal job for people pursuing their passions — so it should be no surprise we consider ourselves movie buffs.

When we got the opportunity to sponsor the Waco Independent Film Festival (formerly Deep in the Heart Film Festival) in Waco, it was a no-brainer. We love films. We love festivals. We love being involved in our community. It’s a match made in heaven.

As a gold-tier sponsor, we had a full page advertisement in the festival event brochure and our logo printed on all tickets and merchandise. We also got to park our truck at the festival so people could stroll by and say hey! “Our community supports us, so we want to support them,” says Waco Branch Manager Jesse Barnhart. “Our goal is for the entire community to look for us when they have an event or situation that requires extra help!”

The two-day event featured numerous independent film releases, but we have to say the best part may have been meeting Jason London, the actor who plays Randall “Pink” Floyd in the classic Dazed and Confused!

We had a blast at the festival, and we loved being involved in such a cool event in our community. Waco is an amazing town and we’re thrilled that Little Guys Movers gets to be part of it.
