Joshua McKelvey

Branch Manager Little Guy since 2015

Joshua McKelvey is a North Carolina native hailing from the great city of Pittsboro! He graduated from Greensboro College in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance. After college, he held a variety of jobs until becoming a Little Guy in 2015. Josh worked his way up from mover to the Director of Operations at the Greensboro location, where he has been the manager since October 2019. In his spare time, Josh is a musician and teacher. As co-owner of Cloud Music Academy in Greensboro, he teaches brass, guitar, drums, and songwriting. He has recorded a number of albums and continues to be active in the Greensboro music scene. In March 2019, Josh welcomed his first child into the world with girlfriend Laurie Arena. Josh and his family are excited to be a part of the Little Guys team.

What’s your personal motto? “This could be much worse.”
Who is your hero (and why)? Will Smith. He’s just very charismatic.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Somewhere outside the U.S. with delicious food.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Coffee and hashbrowns.
What do you like most about being a Little Guy? Being able to reduce the chaos of the moving process.

What do you like most about being a Little Guy? The sense of family and the culture of “let’s get out there and knock it out no matter what.”

What’s your personal motto? All gas, no brakes.
Who is your hero (and why)? My mother. She’s the GOAT!
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go? Ireland
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Japanese takeout teriyaki chicken.
What do you like most about being a Little Guy? My co-workers, and always doing something different.
