Little Guys Lifter Beer Release Party in Raleigh

This year marks the 25th anniversary of Little Guys Movers, and with a quarter century of business behind us, there is certainly cause to celebrate. To commemorate the notable occasion, we teamed up with brewers at the newly opened Tobacco Road Brewing to brew “Little Guys Lifter,” a refreshing lager perfect for raising a glass to Little Guys’ big achievements.

On November 10th, we co-hosted a beer release party at Tobacco Road’s beautiful brewery in downtown Raleigh and invited friends, family, and the entire community to join. LGM co-founders Chris Hawley and Marcus Watson were there, and managers and employees from the Greensboro, Wilmington, and Raleigh offices all joined to enjoy a pint or two.

Thanks to Tobacco Road Brewing!

Tobacco Road Brewing, which only started brewing beer this past August, first opened its doors in December 2016 in the historic powerhouse building of downtown Raleigh. “We crafted a fitting beer for such an important anniversary for Little Guys Movers,” said Chris Atkins, Head Brewer of Tobacco Road Brewing.

Working with Tobacco Road was dreamy and a total honor. They prefer to use local ingredients in their recipes, and you can tell that community is their first priority – something that is completely in line with our way of doing business.

In all, the whole experience was a blast. We couldn’t be more grateful for those that have celebrated with and supported us from day one!

Here’s to our team, good beer, and 25 more years to come … cheers!
