Our story takes us back to 1992, to a humble town in North Texas called Denton. It was here that a man named Marcus Watson had a simple dream, and together with a few buddies and a couple of Toyota pickups, the rich legacy that is Little Guys Movers began…

Marcus Watson and company took a trip east in 2009 in search of a new location to settle down into, and it didn’t take long for the coolest city in the Natural State to charm their pants smooth off. The camping, the fishing, the sexy Ozark scenery — they couldn’t possibly say no. But who would be up for the challenge of managing the store?

Enter Arkansas-native Joseph Barnes. Getting the shop started was no small feat, but Barnes was eventually able to recruit and train the right men for the job. In July 2012, Jacob Leonidas Ladue took over GM duties, and Barnes stepped up to be the Director for Marketing Development for LGM headquarters. From the beginning, the Fayetteville, Arkansas location has been embraced by our neighbors, and we do our best to give back at every opportunity. We take pride in our goals to be ingrained in the community and to provide the best service, because it’s important to us not to define our business as simply moving furniture, but as taking care of people that are moving.
